Author: Professor Ghulam Hussain Manganhar Prof. Ghulam Hussain Manganhar hails from village Hingoro, Tehsil Pano Aqil, District Sukkur, Sindh. He started his first job with Pakistan Railways in 1966 where he worked for about 7 years. He did MA in English Literature in 1970 and joined the Education Department of the Government of Sindh as a Lecturer in English early in 1973. He was awarded a Central Overseas Training Scholarship in 1981. He enrolled at a Canadian University and studied there for another Master’s degree in English Literature. Later, he enrolled at an Australian University in 1984 where he undertook research work in English Literature for two and a half years. Currently, he is working as a Professor of English at Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur, Sindh. Besides, he has been teaching English Essay and Composition free of tuition fees to candidates of central and provincial services for a long time. He takes pride in being a senior teacher and mentor of scores of successful candidates of various competitive examinations holding enviable positions across Pakistan. He has taught English at College and University levels for more than 50 years. He is now in his early eighties.
